Contribute A Publication to the Following Entry
Contribute your knowledge to UniProtKB by associating a publication and annotation to a UniProt entry.
Three simple steps:
1-Enter UniProtKB Accession (see box above)
2-Sign in with ORCID
3-Fill in submission form (retrieve publication and add annotation) Preview sample form
The information will be available in the entry publication section in a future UniProt release.
If you do not have an ORCID account yet, we provide an alternative login method for testing the submission service:
Sandbox ID account: curator@mailinator.com
Sandbox ID secret: Suite205!
Sandbox account is used for testing purposes only. Use above account/pass if you do not wish to create your own ORCID sandbox test ID (which only accepts malinator.com emails).
We will remove this option in official page.
About ORCID
ORCID is an independent non-profit organization that provides a persistent identifier - an ORCID iD - that distinguishes you from other researchers and a mechanism for linking your research outputs and activities to your iD. ORCID is integrated into many systems used by publishers, funders, institutions, and other research-related services. Learn more at
orcid.org.
Authenticate with ORCID
The UniProt Bibliography Submission Page is collecting your ORCID iD so we can verify your submission is not a spam.
When you click the "Authorize" button, we will ask you to share your iD using an authenticated process: either by
registering for an ORCID iD
or, if you already have one, by
signing into your ORCID account
, then granting us permission to get your ORCID iD. We do this to ensure that you are correctly identified and securely connecting your ORCID iD.
