Q8VHL1ReviewedHistone-lysine N-methyltransferase SETD7 Mus musculus (Mouse).35781359Set7 Deletion Prevents Glucose Intolerance and Improves the Recovery of Cardiac Function After Ischemia and Reperfusion in Obese Female Mice.[Pathology & Biotech][Expression]Protein/gene_name: Set7.
Additional Annotation: Obese female mice fed an obesogenic diet exhibited higher Set7 protein levels in the heart and perigonadal adipose tissue (PAT). Deletion of Set7 did not affect body weight gain, adiposity, and cardiac hypertrophy in response to an obesogenic diet in female mice. Loss of Set7 prevented obesogenic diet-induced glucose intolerance. Loss of Set7 prevented the impaired recovery of cardiac function following ischemia and reperfusion injury.
Disease: Cardiac ischemia and reperfusion injury. Obesity.
